Jak co roku, zaprosiliśmy młodych i starszych mieszkańców Frankfurtu nad Odrą i Słubic, którzy interesują się sztuką i fotografią, do zanurzenia się w świat sztuki poprzez własne działania twórcze. Niektórzy z nich od wielu lat są zaangażowani w te działania, inni do medium fotografii podchodzili z ostrożnością.
Like every year, we invited the young and the old, people from Frankfurt (Oder) and Słubice, all those interested in art and photography to dive into the art world and be creative themselves. Some have been actively involved since many years, others only started to approach the medium of photography.
Wie jedes Jahr haben wir wieder junge und alte an Kunst und Fotografie interessierte Bürger*innen aus Frankfurt (Oder) und Słubice eingeladen, durch eigenes kreatives Tun in die Welt der Kunst einzutauchen. Manche sind seit vielen Jahren aktiv dabei, andere näherten sich dem Medium Fotografie vorsichtig an.

Naszym materiałem wyjściowym było wszystko to, co drukowane – teksty i obrazy z gazet, reklam, magazynów, stron internetowych, książek lub z własnego archiwum fotograficznego. Podczas tego warsztatu próbowaliśmy sformułować nasze myśli – indywidualnie lub zespołowo. Inspirowały nas prace Evy Kot’átkovej, Hannah Zänker, Rabih Mroué i innych. Częścią warsztatów były również mniejsze ćwiczenia i wprowadzenie do ręcznych technik introligatorskich.
Our material are all kinds of printed matter: clippings and images taken from newspapers, advertising, magazines, websites, books or even from our own image archives. During the workshop thoughts could develop freely on an individual or communal basis. We were inspired by the work of Eva Kot’átková, Hannah Zänker, Rabih Mroué and others. Also, part of the workshop were smaller exercises and an introduction to the technique of book binding.
Unser Material war alles Gedruckte – Texte und Bilder aus Zeitungen, Reklame, Zeitschriften, Websites, Werbung, Bücher oder aus dem eigenen Bildarchiv. In diesem Workshop konnten sich Gedanken tastend formen – individuell oder kollektiv. Arbeiten von Eva Kot’átková, Hannah Zänker, Rabih Mroué und anderen haben uns inspiriert. Außerdem waren kleinere Übungen und eine Einführung zu manuellen Buchbindetechniken Teil des Workshops.

We wspólnej rozmowie zbliżaliśmy się do tematu warsztatowego. Co kojarzymy z oscylacją, z wibracjami? Potem uczestnicy tworzyli swoje prace, które co jakiś czas omawialiśmy na wspólnych spotkaniach wideo.
We approached the workshop topic in open conversation. What are our associations regarding oscillation and vibrations? Subsequently, the participants developed their own pieces that we regularly discussed during video meetings.
Im gemeinsamen Gespräch haben wir uns dem Workshopthema angenähert. Was assoziieren wir mit Oszillation, was mit Vibrationen? Danach entwickelten die Teilnehmer ihre eigenen Arbeiten, die immer wieder auf gemeinsamen VideoMeetings besprochen wurden.

Cyjanotypia to stary fotograficzny proces kopiowania negatywów, który w świetle słonecznym daje pruski błękit. Jako nośnik obrazu może być użyty papier i tkaniny naturalne. Dlatego wykorzystaliśmy białe prześcieradła lub poszwy na kołdry – z wzorem lub bez, wykonane z bawełny lub lnu. Na zakończenie każdy stworzył cyjanotypię z dużego kawałka tkaniny, które zostały zaprezentowane w formie wiszącej instalacji na festiwalu „lAbiRynT”
Cyanotype is an old photographic negative copying process producing Prussian blue through sunlight exposure. Paper as well as natural fabrics work well as base for the image. Therefore, we used white cotton, linen sheets or patterned duvet covers during the course. In the end, each participant created a cyanotype work on a large sheet of material. All results will be presented in an installation of suspended sheets during the festival.
Cyanotypie ist ein altes fotografisches Negativ-Kopierverfahren, bei dem unter Sonnenlicht Preußischblau entsteht. Als Bildträger eignen sich unter anderem Papier und Natursstoffe. Deshalb haben wir für diesen Kurs weiße Bettlaken/Bettbezüge – mit oder ohne Muster, aus Baumwolle oder Leinen verwendet. Als Abschlussarbeit entstand von jedem eine Cyanotypiearbeit aus einer großen Stoffbahn. Alle Ergebnisse wurden in einer installativen Hängung zum Festival präsentiert.

Był to warsztat, w którym za pomocą różnych działań, w tym głównie fotograficznych, badaliśmy i doświadczaliśmy impresji kolorów. Popracowaliśmy na wiele sposobów: intuicyjnie, eksperymentalnie, komponując precyzyjnie w kadrze oraz dając upust fantazji i ekspresji. Kolor stał się również tematycznym wyzwaniem do wizualnego, niemal konceptualnego zinterpretowania i zilustrowania.
In my workshop, we used various methods, predominantly photographic ones, to explore and experience colour impressions. We worked in various ways: intuitively, experimentally, creating precise compositions in the frame, and also by giving free space to our imagination and expressiveness. Color was also a thematic challenge which the participants were to interprete and illustrate visually, almost conceptually
Mithilfe verschiedener vor Allem fotografischer Aktivitäten untersuchten wir Farbeindrücke. Im Workshop haben wir auf verschiedene Arten gearbeitet: intuitiv, experimentell, indem wir das Motiv präzise im Bildausschnitt komponierten, und indem wir unserer Phantasie und Ausdruckskraft freien Raum ließen. So wurde die Farbe zur thematischen Herausforderung für eine konzeptuelle Interpretation und Illustration.

Celem warsztatów było zapoznanie uczestników z medium gier komputerowych i nauczenie wykorzystywania stosowanych tam mechanizmów do potrzeb fotografii. Odbywały się całkowicie online za pośrednictwem platformy internetowej, która umożliwiała stałą wymianę
Video games are interactive narratives or simulators.
The workshops served to familiarize the participants with the medium of computer games, enabling them to use the mechanisms of the games for photography. The workshops were exclusively online via an internet platform that enabled constant exchange.
Videospiele sind auch interaktive Erzählungen bzw. Simulatoren.
Die Workshops dienten dazu, die Teilnehmer:innen mit dem Medium der Computerspiele vertraut zu machen, um dann die Mechanismen der Spiele für die Fotografie verwenden zu können. Die Workshops fanden komplett online statt über eine Internetplattform, die einen ständigen Austausch ermöglichte.
