W ramach rezydencji artystycznej w Galerii B Frankfurckiego Stowarzyszenia Sztuki badam różnorodną tematykę ludzi-maszyn, przesuwania granic percepcji i zakłócania zdolności do odbierania bodźców w celu zdobycia wiedzy. Rozważam ludzką potrzebę kontroli nad życiem i tworzeniem. Fascynacja, a czasem wewnętrzny opór wobec tworzenia sztucznego życia, sięga starożytności i nadal jest dziedziną kontrowersyjną. W ramach tego tematu prezentuję nowe prace Mind Machine, w których łączę obrazy paskowe z inteligencją artystyczną i tworzę rzeźby dźwiękowe z biciem ludzkiego serca. Im Rahmen einer Künstlerresidenz in der Galerie B des Frankfurter Kunstverein e.V. in Frankfurt (Oder). untersuche ich den vielschichtigen Themenkomplex aus Maschinenmenschen, Verschiebung der Wahrnehmungsgrenzen und Störung der menschlichen Sensorik zum Erkenntnisgewinn. Ich reflektiere das menschliche Bedürfnis nach Kontrolle über das Leben und die Schöpfung. Faszination und manchmal auch die Ambivalenz gegenüber dem Erschaffen von künstlichem Leben geht zurück bis in die Antike und beinhaltet bis heute kontroverse Aspekte. Dazu stelle ich neue Arbeiten der Mind Machine aus, kombiniere Streifenbilder mit künstlerischer Intelligenz und erschaffe Klangskulpturen mit menschlichem Herzschlag. As part of my artist residency at Gallery B of the Frankfurt Art Association, I explore various topics concerning people-machines, and also our attempts at pushing the limits of perception and disrupting the ability to receive stimuli in order to further knowledge. I reflect on the human need to control life and creation. The fascination and sometimes ambivalence towards the creation of artificial life dates back to antiquity and is still a controversial field. As part of this theme, I present new Mind Machine works, in which I combine stripe images with artistic intelligence and create sound sculptures with the beating of the human heart.
